Artificial Intelligence Club

Recruitment for the 2026/2027 Academic Year

Welcome to the website dedicated to the Jagiellonian University Artificial Intelligence Club for secondary school students.

Artificial intelligence is currently one of the fastest-growing areas of computer science. Participation in the Artificial Intelligence Olympiad (https://www.oai.edu.pl/) gives students an opportunity not only to develop practical skills, but also to gain tangible benefits for their further education. Achievements in the Olympiad are already taken into account in the admission criteria of selected universities, including Jagiellonian University (https://rekrutacja.uj.edu.pl/studia-i-stopnia/olimpiady).

Information about recruitment for the upcoming academic year will be published in the second half of September. Please check the announcements on this website regularly, as both the recruitment period and the number of places will be limited. Students who register too late will not be able to join the AI Club.

Recruitment

Recruitment is open until October 4, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

The Artificial Intelligence Club sessions will be held in person throughout the entire academic year 2026/2027. Online participation is not possible. Regular attendance is required.

The recruitment test will take place on October 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM in room 0004 (ground floor) at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, Jagiellonian University.

All registered participants are invited to the inaugural lecture on Artificial Intelligence, which will take place on October 8, 2026, at 5:00 PM in room 0004 (ground floor) at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, Jagiellonian University.

If you are determined to join the club and take the recruitment test, please follow these steps:

  1. Register for the recruitment test. The list of materials necessary to prepare for the test is available HERE. We do not require additional knowledge, so do not hesitate to test your abilities!
  2. After submitting the form, a unique identifier will be sent to the email address you provided. You must remember this identifier. Without it, you will not be able to take the recruitment test! This identifier is confidential, so do not share it with anyone. If you do not receive the email with your identifier within an hour of submitting the form, check your spam folder. If it is not there either, please register again using a different email address, as your email provider likely blocks communication from UJ’s mail servers. If you later receive an email from a previous registration with a different identifier, you may use either of the identifiers during the recruitment test.
  3. Each participant is required to bring some form of identification (a student ID, an identity card or a passport) to the recruitment test. Without such a document, it will not be possible to take the recruitment test.
  4. The results of the recruitment test and admission to the club will be announced on this website using the unique identifiers only (no names will be published).
  5. If you are under 18 years old and qualify for the Artificial Intelligence Club, you must bring a signed consent form from your parent or legal guardian to the first class (link HERE). Without this consent, participation in the club will not be possible!
  6. If you registered for the recruitment test but changed your mind and no longer wish to participate, please send an email with this information to: kolkosi@uj.edu.pl.

If you are a teacher interested in AI, you can also join the club. Send your application by email to kolkosi@uj.edu.pl. As a teacher, you do not need to take the recruitment test.
